Janae Evans

As President for Evtex, Janae is responsible for brokerage functions throughout the Coastal Bend, South Texas, and Houston markets. She has 22 years of experience as a successful commercial real estate broker and consistently provides successful results for a diverse set of clients and properties. Janae represents a variety of corporate and individual clients and investors with their acquisition/disposition requirements. Janae began her career supervising third-party marketing efforts for office portfolios throughout Houston TX. In 1998 she was hired as a leasing agent for Transwestern Commercial Services. In her first year there, she was an integral part of the leasing team that procured the 165,000 square foot PricewaterhouseCoopers lease transaction for Louisiana Place in the CBD, the largest office lease transaction executed in Houston for that year. In subsequent years, Janae took a lead role in procuring leases for clients owning buildings in nearly every submarket of Houston. In 2002, Janae was promoted to Marketing Director and honored with the coveted Transwestern award for “Most Leases Made” for the Houston Region. In 2003, she returned to Evtex, the family business, to focus on land, investment sales, office and industrial deals. In 2017, Janae expanded the Evtex brand to South Texas and the Coastal Bend where she currently represents a portfolio of land listings and investment properties consisting of more than 900 acres. Janae graduated cum laude from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature in 1989. Janae is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.
