James Woodard

James has worked in retail in its various forms for over 25 years, including roles in local authority, more than a decade in an international practice and a period client side for an F&B brand. He has lived and worked in Bristol since 2001 His knowledge of the retail and leisure sectors in the South West is much sought after, with expertise in markets across the region and beyond. In Bristol in particular he has been instrumental in the expansion of several local brands, taking them out of the region and developing them into national operators, whilst also working for landlords on varied projects across the city. This breadth of knowledge and connections is highly valuable to clients involved in retail and leisure projects outside the mainstream, and James’ focus on getting tenant mix right is proven.
