James Otto

James Otto serves as Vice Chairman and Head of Life Sciences for the Savills Chicago region, bringing more than 20 years of real estate expertise to the firm. He joins the tenant advisory team led by the Chairman of North American Brokerage, strengthening Savills’ growing presence in the life sciences sector. Prior to joining Savills, Otto held the role of Executive Vice President at CBRE, where he built a distinguished career in real estate advisory and transaction services. His experience includes a two-year tenure in CBRE’s Tokyo office, where he advised occupiers across the Asia-Pacific region, further enhancing his global perspective. Over the course of his career, Otto has completed more than 10 million square feet of transactions valued at over $5 billion.
