
Jim is expert at structuring transactions to honor particular partner objectives while maximizing after-tax returns, all within compliance to the Tax Code, to treasury regulations, and to tax court rulings. Jim has a 30-year background in financial services and corporate finance, with a focus in investment operations and business process improvement. He began his career at State Street Bank and Trust, where he came to supervise accounting services for international equity, debt, and swap portfolios, and to direct international trade settlement for institutional equity portfolios. He transitioned to Fidelity Investments, where he built and managed a team of 30 to support diverse global investment products offered to institutional investors. From 1995 to 2002, Jim served as Director of Finance and Administration, and then as COO, of an international non-profit organization.
