James E. Buddrus joined Swearingen in 1981 as a specialist in tenant representation. He quickly became one of the most successful brokers in the company, earning recognition as a top producer 18 out of the last 21 years. As a commercial real estate professional, Jim has specialized in representing major corporations in leasing, build-to-suits, building purchases, dispositions, strategic planning, development consultations and other facility-related transactions. He has negotiated transactions in just about every major market across the United States. Jim has a strong, philosophical, user-oriented approach to providing client service and is committed to achieving each client's long- and short-term objectives by maximizing current real estate market conditions. Jim was born in Kansas City and has resided in the Dallas area since 1974. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in real estate and finance. He is an active member of many organizations, including the Texas Association of Realtors, North Texas Commission and East Dallas Chamber of Commerce.
