Jacob Rivera

Jake Rivera’s commercial real estate career began back in 2014 in his hometown of Los Angeles, CA. After finishing his hockey career Jake moved to Rochester in 2017 and joined Caliber. Jake works with national, regional, and local tenants and developers assisting them with site selection, strategy development, demographic analysis, and contractual negotiations. His specialty in landlord representation focuses on Landlord’s best interests in finding quality tenants, buyers, and potential 1031 exchange opportunities. Jake played collegiate and professional hockey, even captaining Team USA in international competitions. He has coached local youth, high school, and collegiate teams. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jake is a graduate of Tilton Prep School (NH) and SUNY-Potsdam. Jake lives in Brighton, NY with his wife and two dogs. In 2020, Jake was named one of The Daily Record & the Rochester Business Journal’s 2020 Excellence in Construction & Real Estate honorees. Jake was selected for his professional achievement and impact on Rochester through Construction & Real Estate.
