Iqbal Hassan

Iqbal Hassan has been an active commercial/industrial broker in downtown Los Angeles since his graduation from the University of California, Irvine. As owner/founder of the The Quantum Associates and partner of ARES Management, he has specialized in the brokerage of industrial properties throughout the greater downtown Los Angeles marketplace with an emphasis in the active development, brokerage, and management of properties located in the fashion district. Hassan has brokered some of the most significant deals in that market during the past 35 years. Hassan has been a member of the AIR since 1987 and has served on the Board of Directors since 1999. As a board member he has served on numerous committees and held many key positions within AIR including Membership Chair, Treasurer, MULTIPLE Director, Senior Advisory/Ethics, and President in 2006. He has also volunteered with organizations that have strived to improve downtown Los Angeles including; The South Park Task Force, Advisor to the Community Redevelopment Agency through his elected and appointed position on the Project Area Committee (PAC), and Advisor to the Fashion District Business Improvement District. From deep sea fishing off the California coast to trekking in the mountains of Kashmir India, Hassan spends most of his free time outdoors. He also enjoys golfing, travelling, and off-roading. He resides in Whittier with his wife and two children.
