Ian Shackell
Ian obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Brock University, then went on to enter commercial real estate. In the research and analysis division of a major real estate firm, he played a key role in the introduction and maintenance of the database management system. In 1986 Ian joined the brokerage side, specializing in industrial sales and leasing and investment real estate. His expertise has led to many successful sales and leasing campaigns throughout his career. He has accomplished these goals by consistently understanding his client’s goals and then focusing all available resources to achieving them in an expeditious manner. In June 1999 he jointly founded the Ottawa office of CBRE Limited where he worked until 2022. Ian has now joined Lennard Commercial Realty and is looking to replicate what he did back in 1999 when he grew CBRE to Ottawa’s largest commercial real estate brokerage.
