Manage all aspects of running a store that is part of a multi-million dollar business for Hollister Co. : • Oversee and develop a team of 4 managers and 40+ part-time associates to achieve sales objectives, merchandising strategies, and promotional events to brand standards • Consistently exceed KPI goals such as plan, LY sales, OIS, AUR, conversion, UPT and ATV compared to LY • Back to School, Black Friday and Christmas holiday weekly contest winner in the region • Implement plans (self-mapping floorset/update) that maximize merchandise sales thus exceeding store goals • Manage store operations such as staff scheduling, hours management, inventory management, stockroom systems and employee payroll • Enforce loss prevention policies and awareness in the store in order to control external and internal shrinkage (units lost reduced by 15% to LY) • Recruit on a consistent basis part-time and full-time associates in-store, at the South Plains mall and Texas Tech University, and on social media platforms to meet staffing goals • Responsible for interviewing and hiring part-time associates as well as conducting first round interviews for full-time positions • Train and develop key holders and assistant managers into strong and capable leaders by providing continuous learning and development • Successfully promote key holders and assistant managers to higher roles with the company • Actively train and develop a select team of part-time associates to provide exceptional customer service • Create the best possible customer experience by being engaging, friendly, and helpful • Resolve escalated customer concerns with professional grace, ensuring long-term clientele https://www.linkedin.com/in/hugo-vidal-60396243/
