Hillary began her career in Chicago after earning her degree at Wheaton College in 1999. She worked for Lyric Opera of Chicago in fundraising, development, and event planning. In 2001, she became the Events Coordinator for the world class golf club, Medinah Country Club, in northwest suburbs of Chicago. After moving back to her hometown, Grand Rapids, she joined Taatjes & Tol in 2004 and handled their marketing and direct mail. In 2006, Taatjes & Tol merged with Grand Real Estate to form NAI West Michigan where Hillary became Marketing Manager. Hillary earned her real estate license in 2009 and joined NAI’s Sales Team specializing in Office Sales and Leasing. Hillary partners with her father, Doug Taatjes, who has over 35 year of commercial real estate experience in West Michigan. Hillary believes that putting clients' needs first will create the best solution for long-lasting relationships.
