Helene Elbaum, Managing Director at Newmark Associates, is a third-generation real estate professional recognized for her ability to address complex requirements with an “outside-the-box” vision and creative approach. A graduate of Drew University, Helene began her career overseeing operations and property management at Newmark’s commercial real estate office before transitioning to the sales team. Within six months, she was promoted to Senior Sales Associate, followed by Vice President, and now serves as Managing Director. Growing up in the real estate business gave Helene unique insight into client needs and industry demands, providing a strong foundation for her extensive market knowledge. Her expertise spans the sale and leasing of retail, office, medical, recreational, flex and daycare properties, along with land redevelopment projects. She has also distinguished herself through innovative marketing strategies; leveraging social media and online advertising to successfully reposition underutilized properties and redevelopment sites. In addition to her professional role, Helene is involved in civic and business leadership. She was elected in 2023 to serve as Councilperson for Randolph Township. Prior to that appointment, she served as the Vice Chair of the Randolph Township Economic Development Committee for several years, where she connects businesses with township departments and recommends pro-business policies and programs. Helene also served a commissioner on the Randolph Township Planning Board for several years and is also an active member of the Board of Directors for the Randolph Area Chamber of Commerce. Beyond these roles, she volunteers her time to community outreach programs throughout Morris County. Her geographic expertise includes Morristown and surrounding areas such as Hanover Township, Parsippany, Morris Plains, Denville, Rockaway, and Roxbury. She is also recognized as Newmark’s in-house expert on Randolph Township, her hometown of more than 40 years.
