Heather Hurst

Prior to joining The Multifamily Group, Heather worked as a receiving/shipping/inventory supervisor for a Distribution Center for 4.5 years. During her time there she was able to reduce overtime by 20% by learning the processes and finding ways to build on them. Shipping turn times also improved by 15% and errors were dramatically reduced. This was achieved by placing people into positions where they excelled and implementing regimented training programs with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Heather gained several transferrable skills such as being able to communicate effectively, creative problem-solving skills, and time management. She received a bachelor’s in Business Administration (2015) and an MBA in Management (2020) from Tarleton State University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and petting her bearded dragon, Karen.
