ABOUT

Heather Blacketer brings to Catalyst more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Heather specializes in retail leasing, marketing, and shopping center revitalization, and has successfully leased more than 2 million square feet of retail space across the Midwest. While working with national, regional, and local tenants, Heather honed an in-depth understanding of deal structures. She is widely recognized for exceptional negotiation and closing skills, and has built trusted relationships with national chains and the broader brokerage community. Heather started her real estate career in property management, which provided a comprehensive understanding of the lease process and the dynamics between tenants and landlords. As Regional Vice President of Leasing for a publicly traded REIT for over 25 years, she was responsible for leasing retail assets throughout the Midwest and earned multiple “Leasing Representative of the Year” awards. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Heather is active in her community, having served as Board President of the March of Dimes Kansas City Chapter, on the Children’s Place Angels Board, and she volunteers regularly with various organizations through her involvement with NCL. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two pugs. She loves traveling, staying active, and indulging in Kansas City’s fantastic (and under the radar) dining scene.
