ABOUT

Heather Beal has been with Merlone Geier since 2021. Her primary responsibility is to serve as a senior project partner, with a particular focus on project development, entitlement processing and leasing in the Pacific Northwest and Bay Area. Before joining Merlone Geier, from 1998 to 2021, Ms. Beal was a Senior Vice President, Leasing for Donahue Schriber Realty Group, L.P. and she also served on its Executive Committee, which directed the company’s strategic vision and daily operations. Her responsibilities included the leasing of neighborhood, community and power centers in Northern California, Oregon and Washington. Additionally, she was responsible for the merchandising and leasing of those assets acquired by Donahue Schriber in Northern California, Oregon and Washington. Prior to joining Donahue Schriber, Ms. Beal was a Vice President of Leasing for Diversified Shopping Centers from 1987 to 1998. Since beginning her career in 1987, Ms. Beal has leased approximately 11,500,000 square feet through approximately 1750 transactions. She has worked with national, regional and local tenants including the following: Target, Bass Pro, Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, Safeway, Trader Joe’s, LA Fitness, QFC/Kroger, Pottery Barn, Coach, Williams Sonoma, Old Navy, buy buy Baby, The Hobby Lobby, Bed, Bath & Beyond, TJ Maxx, Burlington, Home Goods, Ross, ULTA, AMC, Regal Cinema and 24 Hour Fitness.
