Guillaume Monast is a Senior Associate with the Québec Capital Markets Team at Avison Young. In this capacity, he provides expert advice to institutions, REITs, asset managers, and private investors on buying and selling multifamily and office properties in the Greater Montréal Area and throughout Québec. Guillaume entered the commercial real estate field in 2019 as a financial analyst, successfully underwriting over $1 billion in real estate investment transactions. He later transitioned to a sales role, where he has facilitated the sale of more than 6,500 units with a combined investment value of $1.4 billion. His client portfolio includes leading industry institutions such as CAPREIT, Interrent, Hazelview, Akelius, AIMCo., and Marlin Spring, among others. Prior to his career into commercial real estate, Guillaume was a professional hockey player and also worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Management Consulting, where he specialized in solving strategic challenges for various businesses.
