Greg Beckel

Since co-founding Horizon Realty Advisors (HRA) with Tim Smith and Mike Strand in 2001, Greg has shaped Horizon’s trajectory on a journey of excellence. In collaboration with the other co-founders, Greg has directed the management company and all departments including asset management, marketing, accounting, training, and IT. His steadfast commitment and passion are the foundation of HRA’s operations, creating a launchpad for success for residents, employees, and investors. Before co-founding HRA, Greg's path was paved with significant achievements at Pinnacle Realty Management, where he began as a multi-site property manager and quickly ascended to the role of Executive VP, managing 25,000 units throughout Washington and Oregon, and overseeing the branch office located in Portland, OR. Greg later became the West Coast Director of Operations where his responsibilities included overseeing a 40,000+ unit portfolio throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Arizona. Greg graduated from Washington State University (WSU) with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Business Marketing, while also making his mark as an athlete on the WSU men’s golf team and serving as captain of the University’s men’s soccer team. Greg remains heavily involved with his alma mater as a fervent advocate, benefactor, and fundraiser for the Cougar Athletic Fund and a passionate fan of the Washington State Cougar Football team. Residing in Gig Harbor alongside his wife, Greg has nurtured a family of two daughters and now embraces the cherished role of a doting grandfather.
