Garry Steinberg

Mr. Steinberg joined Lee & Associates NYC (Lee NYC) as a managing director in retail and office brokerage. He entered the commercial real estate industry after more than three decades in the fashion industry. His retail real estate practice now focuses on the restaurant, fashion, cosmetics, home, and accessories industries. Prior to joining Lee NYC, Mr. Steinberg was a managing director at Robert K. Futterman and, prior to that, a managing director at Colliers International, previously known as GVA Williams, where he served as tenant representative for Walgreen’s developer, Trilogy, ABC Carpet and Home, HSBC Bank USA, N.A., Rainbow Clothing store,s and Avis Rent A Car System, LLC. He has represented numerous landlords, including Marx Realty and Brause Realty. In 1985, Mr. Steinberg co-founded 525 America, a popular line of contemporary knitwear and home furnishings currently sold at several high-end retailers, including Barney’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and ABC Carpet and Home. He is licensed to practice real estate in New York.
