Fred Piumelli

Frederick Piumelli is the founder and principal of North Crane Capital, a privately held real estate investment firm focused on value-add multifamily and mixed-use properties, primarily in Vero Beach, Florida. Through its affiliated companies—North Crane Living and North Crane Builders—Fred oversees a vertically integrated operation that spans acquisition, development, construction, leasing, and property management. North Crane Living is a licensed real estate brokerage, and Fred serves as its principal broker, directly managing leasing strategy, tenant relations, and operational oversight across the company’s residential and commercial portfolio. With over a decade of experience across real estate investment, development, and operations, Fred brings a hands-on approach to execution, emphasizing thoughtful design, efficient management, and long-term value creation. He is known for building lean, high-performing teams that deliver results. Fred holds a Master’s in Real Estate Development from New York University (NYU) and earned his undergraduate degree from Bentley University, where he studied economics and finance. He is also a licensed general contractor in the State of Florida, actively overseeing multifamily construction and site development projects.
