Joining Avison Young in 2017 as a Principal in the downtown Chicago office, Mr. Ishler brings 30 years of commercial real estate experience including more than 22 million square feet of office leasing representation in the Chicago suburbs. Prior to joining Avison Young, Fred spent time at Transwestern as an executive vice president with the agency leasing group in addition to serving as a senior vice president for CB Richard Ellis, a senior managing director at Insignia/ESG, and a tenant representative broker at Studley. At each firm, he was annually ranked among the Midwest’s top leasing professionals. While at Transwestern, Fred co-led the Midwest leasing team which was responsible for a 3.5-million square-foot suburban Chicago office building portfolio. Together, he and his team finalized more than 125 lease transactions in 2015 and 2016. Fred has also provided market analysis for more than 4 million square feet of sales transactions. His transaction and marketing expertise allows him to enhance value for property owners while providing superior leasing services, negotiating prowess, creative marketing, strategic positioning and top of the pyramid market analysis. As one of the Midwest’s foremost experts in the leasing and positioning of office properties, Fred has developed and led the leasing campaigns of many high-profile projects including Golf Tower; 3800 Golf Road; 701/747 E. 22nd Street; 999, 1011, & 1111 Touhy; Westwood of Lisle; Columbia Centre I, II, & III; One & Two Century Centre; One & Two Conway Park; 1350 Touhy Plaza; Naperville Corporate Center I; II, III & IV; 25 & 50 Northwest Point; Lisle Executive Center, Corridors I & II, Mid America Plaza, Cantera Crossing, Pointe O’Hare, Atrium Corporate Center. He is also an expert in tenant representation and has represented major suburban Chicago office tenants including Staples/Quill for its 61,000 sf North suburban headquarters.
