Mr. Ezra began his career in real estate in 1969. He founded The Ezra Company in 1980 and is its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Fred Ezra's commitment to integrity, service, knowledge of all aspects of real estate transactions, and his passion for negotiation have led the firm to continued success. Mr. Ezra is regarded as one of the most professional and knowledgeable tenant brokers. He is widely respected for his vast experience in the analysis, structuring and negotiation of real estate transactions throughout the nation, and his distinguished expertise is greatly valued by the real estate community as well as numerous national clients. Mr. Ezra has represented clients occupying over 12 million square feet of space including 18 build-to-suit developments totaling over 3.5 million square feet. In 1999, Mr. Ezra, together with two Ezra Company associates and a long-standing technology client, founded Core Location, LLC, an Internet Real Estate Company. Fred Ezra, Co-Founder, Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Core Location was responsible for Core's real estate development activities. His expertise is in sourcing and acquiring large-scale properties in key U.S. markets that serve the unique demands of mission critical telecommunications infrastructure and internet data center providers. Mr. Ezra was responsible for identifying and negotiating the purchase of the former R.R. Donnelly Building in Chicago, Illinois, which was redeveloped by Core as Lakeside Technology Center, the premier (1,200,000 square feet) mega carrier-neutral telecommunications and internet data center facility in the U.S. He was also responsible for Core's key property acquisitions in Atlanta, Georgia and San Jose, California. From 1999 through 2001, Core developed a total of 2.5 million square feet in three U.S. markets. Mr. Ezra's expertise has been greatly sought after by the Washington, D.C. business community and major national clients interested in cost containment and flexibility of their real estate facilities. He has had the privilege of lecturing before the National Association of Realtors; Washington, D.C. Association of Realtors; National Building Industries Association; National Association of Industrial and Office Parks; Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR); Georgetown Law School; the American University; and the National Association of Social Workers on topics of lease analysis, financial analysis, structuring of joint ventures, and lease negotiation.
