Frank Herring is recognized as one of Florida’s most successful real estate development and investment professionals. He brings strategic vision, invaluable experience and unmatched contacts to The Herring Group’s development, investment and acquisition activities in Florida and growth markets throughout the Southeastern United States. ? Prior to forming The Herring Group in 2008, he was President of the St. Joe Company Commercial Division. There he oversaw all commercial real estate activities, including numerous retail, office, industrial and multi-family housing projects. During that time St. Joe Company was Florida’s largest real estate operating company. Prior to St. Joe Company he served in numerous leadership and executive positions at Trammell Crow Company and Faison. During an eighteen year relationship with Faison and predecessor companies, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Partner for Florida Operations. Following the acquisition of Faison by Trammell Crow Company in 1998 he was appointed Managing Director for Trammell Crow Company for Central and North Florida Business Units. In those capacities he oversaw the development, construction, leasing and management of numerous Florida properties, including retail, office, industrial and multi-family housing, totaling over $ 1.5 billion in value. ? Herring graduated with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1975 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies. He has participated at the national level in numerous professional real estate organizations including the International Council of Shopping Centers and Urban Land Institute. He has served on numerous business and Civic Boards, including The Hamilton Holt School at Rollins College, Orlando Museum of Art, and The Codina Group of Miami and Chairman of the Board for The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
