Francesca Huson is AvanSpace’s founding director of operations. Working alongside AvantSpace (and AvantStay) Co-Founders Sean and Josh Breuner, Francesca brings 20 years of business and hospitality experience to their unique position in the short-term office rental market - one that Sean Breuner best describes across all of his ventures as the intersection of hospitality, real estate, and technology. AvantSpace opened in 2018 in San Francisco’s popular Marina District, providing the vibrant neighborhood a premier office alternative to the downtown commute. The fully renovated, boutique space quickly took shape into a fresh coworking concept differentiated by Huson and Breuner’s vision dedicated to a better work/life balance. With comedy shows, concerts, sound healing, and meditation events, AvantSpace has maintained a sold-out membership base and waitlist. Prior to AvantSpace, Francesca was General Manager for Sonoma’s award-winning White Oak Vineyards & Winery and co-founder of their second location in Marin County’s premier shopping destination at The Village Corte Madera. The membership-based winery was home to Francesca’s well-established hospitality and event programs, including exclusive wedding ceremonies and receptions for some of wine country’s biggest personalities and celebrities. During this time, Francesca also co-founded Taste Destination 128, an event-based non-profit organization benefiting Alexander Valley’s wineries and agriculture. Francesca also served on the event committee for The Wine Road, Taste Alexander Valley, and as a member of local Chambers of Commerce and Tourism Bureaus. Strengthened by a Business and Economics degree at the helm of the country’s most renowned Wine Business Program, Francesca took away equal hospitality experience as the manager of Sonoma County’s Michelin-rated John Ash & Co. restaurant at the Vintner’s Resort and Spa. Her restaurant background was founded on prior management of family-owned I Fratelli and Tre Fratelli restaurants in San Francisco and Marin that would later expand into an international chain.
