I am the owner and Manager at Cosmopolitan Motors, LLC, a widely recognized industry leader in the highly specialized and demanding automotive industry. I attend approximately 25 major world auctions a year, including: Retromobile (Paris), Barrett-Jackson (Scottsdale), Monaco, Pebble Beach, and others. I also currently sit on the Advisory Boards of two major collector car pricing guides, The Gold Book and the National Auto Dealers Association (NADA) Collectors’ and Special Interest Guide. In addition, I occasionally contribute to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Sports Car Market, Hearst Media Connecticut, The Open Road, Northwest Motorist and Auto News Online. Prior to launching Cosmopolitan Motors, I worked in the areas of sales, service, body and parts departments at multiple franchise dealers--including Oldsmobile, Cadillac, GMC, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Lotus, Subaru and Honda. Combined, I have more than 34 years of experience in the industry. Today, my client list includes multi-national companies, banks, holding companies, insurance companies, notable collections and individuals and the U.S. Department of Justice and the Swedish and Thai governments. I am highly experienced in international trade and markets and travel approximately 150,000 miles a year performing evaluations, acquisitions and dispositions of aircraft, boats and motor vehicles. To date, my worldwide experience includes the purchase, sale and appraisal of over one billion dollars in rolling stock. In addition to my automotive interests, I am a founder, and past member of the Board of Directors of Asia Europe Americas Bank and an active Member in several fine arts acquisition and brokerage companies.
