Euan McGlashan
Euan McGlashan is the Global Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Valor Hospitality.
Following a distinguished career in luxury, independent and branded hotels & resorts in addition to specialty restaurants, Euan formed Valor Hospitality Partners in 2012 alongside his longtime friend and business partner, Steve Cesinger. Since its inception, Valor has garnered a highly-regarded reputation for transforming distressed properties, spearheading new builds, and executing successful rebrandings, all while balancing commercial excellence with cultural integrity. In 2013, Euan and Steve expanded their reach by acquiring a U.K. operating platform, which now boasts 40 hotels and resorts across Great Britain & Ireland, with ambitions for further European growth. Their impactful work includes elevating an underperforming IHG portfolio to the top of Europe’s franchise rankings, overseeing multimillion-pound renovations, and developing innovative ‘High Street Retail’ themed restaurants within Hilton and IHG Hotels & Resorts. Within the same year, Euan also co-founded PMR Hospitality Partners in Cape Town, South Africa, with lifelong friends and now partners Tony Romer-Lee and Michael Pownall to target critical gaps in the Sub-Saharan African hospitality market. In 2018, PMR first evolved into Valor Africa, followed quickly by becoming Valor Africa & Middle East, integrating into what is now known as Valor Global, when they opened a Dubai office.
