Eric Pelfrey is an asset manager at Woodside Capital Partners responsible for maximizing value on a portfolio of commercial real estate-secured loans and real assets. Prior to joining Woodside Capital Partners, he co-founded an investment platform, Reclaim Partners, focused on acquiring and liquidating healthcare accounts receivable. Prior to Reclaim Partners, he was an asset manager at FirstCity Financial Corporation. He managed a nationwide portfolio of real estate-secured commercial loans and value-add real assets. Previously, Mr. Pelfrey was an attorney, practicing in the Real Estate and Finance groups at Vinson & Elkins LLP. At V&E, he assisted investors and private equity groups in the diligence, negotiation, documentation and closing of real estate. Mr. Pelfrey also represented national banks and corporate borrowers in complex commercial lending transactions, including syndicated credit facilities and asset-based financing. Mr. Pelfrey earned graduate degrees in law and business from Duke University, where he was on the Dean’s List. Prior to Duke, Mr. Pelfrey graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and attended the United States Naval Academy.
