Eric Hannum
Eric has demonstrated a strong and diverse career trajectory, beginning with his time at Garmong Construction Services. As the Director of Real Estate since September 2016, Eric has brought his expertise to the forefront, overseeing significant real estate projects while contributing to the company’s continued growth. His current role in Indianapolis, Indiana, has allowed him to build a reputation for his leadership, innovation, and strategic approach to construction services. Before his tenure at Garmong, Eric gained valuable experience as a Cementing Field Engineer at Schlumberger in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, from 2012 to 2015. In this role, he was responsible for organizing and planning cementing operations, as well as designing and testing cement slurry for specialized projects. Eric worked with a diverse range of teams and clients, supervising up to five team members while ensuring high-quality service and seamless communication across all levels of the operation. His experience at Schlumberger provided him with a deep understanding of well service operations, giving him the opportunity to interact with field operators, local management, and engineers. Eric’s background also includes his time as a Tutor for Homework Hotline from 2010 to 2012, where he provided math and science tutoring to middle and high school students nationwide. His time at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where he earned his degree from 2008 to 2012, further solidified his strong foundation in both technical and leadership skills. In addition to his career in real estate and construction, Eric’s early experience as an IT Intern at Garmong Construction Services in 2011 gave him the opportunity to assist in the design and implementation of the company's website.
