Ms. Krebs is a Vice President, specializing in Landlord representation for Mid-America’s Asset Management’s retail property portfolio. Clients include many major Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Real Estate Investment trusts and Entrepreneurs. Ms. Krebs also works closely with and helps train new leasing brokers at Mid-America Asset Management. She has been with Mid-America since January, 1993. Prior to Mid-America, Ms. Krebs spent five years as a retail broker at CBRE, focusing on both Tenant representation as well as Landlord representation. Ms. Krebs’ extensive leasing experience includes all retail types including: power centers, grocery anchored centers, lifestyle centers, mixed-use developments, ground-up projects, and major retail re-developments. With over 25 years of retail leasing experience, Ms. Krebs maintains strong relationships with local and institutional landlords as well as national, regional and local tenants. Ms. Krebs’ responsibilities include analyzing competitive markets, developing void analysis, preparing strategic merchandising plans, coordinating marketing materials, cold-calling and marketing space to prospective Tenants, advising clients on deal economics to meet clients’ long term goals, and negotiating with new and existing Tenants from the Letter of Intent stage through lease execution. Additional responsibilities include timely monthly reporting, compiling budgetary leasing projections, making recommendations relative to deal specific property impact as well as keeping abreast of and reporting to clients on current market conditions. Ms. Krebs is a 1984 graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology and Business. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and participates in the Women in Retail Leasing (WIRL) Association. Ms. Krebs resides in Long Grove, Illinois with her husband and two children.
