For the past 20 years, Ed has been involved with the sales and acquisitions of investment properties ranging multi-family, retail, office, and industrial properties as a commercial real estate analyst, broker, and advisor. Ed started his Real Estate career working in Marta's Vineyard and Boston, MA where he gained extensive knowledge of all major real estate product types as an Owner operator of Schooner Commercial Real Estate from 1998 to 2007. In 2008 Ed moved his family to Portland Maine where he started the 1st KW Commercial office in Maine and was a key participant in its growth. In his career Ed has more than $500 million in transaction volume. Ed also has extensive knowledge in Business Brokerage helping owners strategically exit from business ownership and helped buyers find the right financial fit. He has worked deals ranging from $500,000 to over $30,000,000 with varying degrees of difficulty. His accounting background and his own business ownership makes him a good analyst as well as a great negotiator that you will want on your side of the net. Recently - July 2016 - Ed moved from KW Commercial to the largest Real Estate group in Maine - The Maine Real Estate Network (currently The Bean Group - BG Commercial) with over 500 agents and 20 offices statewide. Ed is heading up the new commercial division TMREN Commercial Real Estate Brokerage which will be wildly successful over the next few years. In 2017 Bean Group merged with TMREN to become the largest independently owned Real Estate company in New England with over $3 billion in sales for 2023. Nov 2023 Bean Group merged with eXp Realty.
