Dwain Settles

As Vice President of Acquisitions, Dwain is responsible for sourcing and managing new real estate development deals from inception to completion. He brings a unique set of skills and experience to the Eastern Meridian Property Group team and has a track record of exceeding standards and expectations in multiple disciplines. Prior to achieving his dream of becoming a real estate development professional, Dwain made a couple of pit stops along the way. Upon graduating from Texas State University with a BBA in Finance, he joined the US Army, becoming a decorated helicopter pilot flying the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk. After his second combat deployment and having served for 11 years, he transitioned out of the military and began a career in medical sales. In his 6 years as a medical sales professional, Dwain achieved many awards and reached the level of Executive Sales Manager. The birth of his son was the final push that led to Dwain making his dream a reality. During the last years of his medical sales career, he obtained his real estate sales associate license and a graduate certificate in Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University. He began working in commercial real estate for Marcus & Millichap, one of the country’s largest real estate investment firms, eventually leading him to his current position at Eastern Meridian Property Group. Dwain loves having fun in the sun and going on adventures with his family in his free time.
