Douglas Wright

Douglas L. Wright, CCIM, serves as an advisor for Sperry Van Ness/InvesTek Realty, LLC specializing in the marketing and sale of multifamily and commercial investment properties. Utilizing both his Ohio and Michigan licenses, he provides a regional approach to portfolio building and management. His professionalism and business experience allow him to have unique insight to his client’s needs and in finding solutions. This practical approach sets him apart as a valuable asset to his clients and team. Wright has assisted national public companies, regional investment groups, and local private investors in solving their real estate needs. Regardless of investor status, Wright approaches each assignment with the same degree of professionalism and attention to detail, exceeding his client’s expectations. As an involved commercial real estate advisor, Wright is an active member of the Toledo Board of Realtors (TBR), Ohio Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors, holds the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and is an active member of the CCIM Institute and the Ohio CCIM Chapter. Wright currently serves on the TBR Governmental & Legislative Committee, the TBR Professional Standards Committee, the City of Toledo’s Business Advisory Council and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Coastal Resources Advisory Council. In 2006, Wright served as president of the TBR. He has also served the TBR as past chairman of the Public Policy Committee, Finance Committee and the Commercial Industrial Committee, past co-chairman of the Growth Strategies Council of the Toledo Metropolitan Council of Governments (TMACOG) as well as a past member of the Executive Committee of TMACOG. In addition, Wright served as a member of the Grievance Committee for the TBR, a member of the Strategic Planning Committee for the Property Rights Coalition and a board member of the Property Rights Coalition, he was named the 2007 Realtor of the year by the Toledo Board of Realtors. Wright earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti. He is also a life member of the Toledo Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club and a life member of the Ohio Association of Realtors President's Sale Club Award.
