Doug Pelton
Doug Pelton graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He immediately began a career in sales, first with Champion Paper, then with Ameritech, while purchasing real estate properties on the side. In 1989, Doug left behind a sales career to learn more about the commercial real estate industry. He began as a leasing consultant with a local Indianapolis commercial development company, The Acorn Group at-casinos.com. Shortly thereafter, he left Acorn to start his own commercial real estate firm, Property Professionals, Incorporated (PPI), specializing in the brokerage of manufactured housing communities in the Southeast and the Midwest. During the past 15 years, he has purchased 35 commercial properties. Doug has two children and resides in Carmel, Indiana. He enjoys his family, tennis, golf, and automobiles.
