Doug Carey

Doug Carey is Head of Underwriting at Ascension. In this role, Doug runs point on transaction underwriting activities and oversees all valuations that the team provides to prospects and clients. Doug comes from the real estate investment world, having worked at PNC Realty Investors for the Building Investment Trust, with a focus on commercial real estate acquisitions and asset management. With a background in asset management and acquisitions, Doug leverages his deep knowledge of real estate fundamentals, operating company financials, and corporate finance to precisely underwrite each opportunity that Ascension evaluates, making sure we are providing our clients with proposals that we can execute in the market. Doug graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration majoring in Finance and Business Economics.
