Doug Barrett

Doug co-founded Meriwether Advisors in 2013 bringing over 18 years of commercial real estate experience to the company. Before joining Meriwether Advisors, in 2000 Doug co-founded ATREG, Inc., an advisory firm specializing in the semiconductor and advanced technology sectors. During his tenure at ATREG from 2000 to 2013, Doug represented clients in over 35 transactions and strategic advisory / consulting assignments involving millions of square feet and $3.5 billion in assets in the United States, Europe and Asia. Prior to co-founding ATREG, Doug was a Senior Vice President and Director of Corporate Services for the Seattle based commercial real estate firm, Colliers International. He is a two-time recipient of the Colliers International President’s Award for outstanding client service. Doug graduated cum laude with a Distinction in Economics from Colorado College and is a CCIM designee. A licensed attorney, Doug earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law. Doug, his wife Laurie and their three children live in Issaquah, Washington.
