Dennis Duggan

Dennis Duggan has been a real estate professional since 1969. He entered the real estate business while still in graduate school at the University of Southern California, where he completed a Master’s degree in philosophy in the early 1970s. Dennis began his career as an agent selling apartment buildings, homes and commercial properties at the George Elkins Company in Beverly Hills. At that time the Elkins was the premier independently owned residential and commercial brokerage company in greater Los Angeles with its own mortgage banking, insurance, escrow, and property management divisions. In 1973 Dennis opened Duggan & Company in Brentwood, which specialized in home and apartment sales and property management. From 1973 to 1982, Dennis and his staff sold and managed properties in California, Phoenix, and Houston. Dennis’ office also managed the Union Bank tower in Brentwood, which consists of over 100,000 square feet of luxury office space and retail shops. In 1982 George Elkins hired Dennis to rejoin the Company in the capacity of President. which at the time had over three hundred sales agents and salaried professionals. Dennis helped lead the company to vastly improved sales and profit figures. In the late 1980's Dennis left the Elkins Company to re-establish Duggan & Company in Brentwood In the early 1990's Dennis and Terry joined the Jon Douglas Brentwood Court office, where they specialized in sales, including estate properties and condominiums, including the legendary Shirley Temple estate on North Rockingham in Brentwood. They sold properties primarily in Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Westwood and Beverly Hills. In recent years, Dennis has also sold homes, Condos, Co-ops and apartment buildings in the prime areas of Toluca Lake, Studio city, Sherman Oaks, Encino, and West Los Angeles
