I stumbled into the real estate business by accident! While working for a hotel developer, Johnson & Haralson in the late 70's a friend called to ask me if I wanted her job...that she was going home to raise her children. I took the job with Rubloff, a commercial real estate brokerage firm in Atlanta, Georgia. The rest is history! I started out as the advertising, public relations and purchasing coordinator in 1980 and was recruited into sales in 1985, the year I got my sales license. I was an independent contractor for the brokerage firm until 1990, jumped ship to a development company called Prentiss Properties. Over the course of the 20 years I enjoyed many successes, was involved in industrial, office, and land sales and leasing. Did many build to suits for lease and sale, oversaw the management and leasing for several million square feet of industrial and office space. I was involved with design, budgeting, managing people, etc. I retired at the top of my game went back to school and got a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design in 2003; launching my interior design firm in 2001 in Atlanta. We relocated to LaGrange, Georgia, the best small city in Georgia in 2004 and will never leave this town. After a few years of interior design I found myself buying houses, renovating them and selling them. I had never been involved with residential properties prior to that time. Today? I am a Broker/Owner for the RE/MAX Results with 3 partners that I love. We are moving and shaking up the market with our fantastic energy with excellent results...just ask our clients! I continue to pursue commercial as it is what I know but have grown into representing some of the finest residential real estate in our region.
