David Marks

David Marks has specialized in real estate consulting since 1986. He was a Senior Vice President with Trammell Crow Company and a Vice President with Real Estate Research Consultants, before starting Marketplace Advisors, Inc. in 2001. He is a nationally recognized expert in mixed-use town center concept development, programming and design analysis. His consulting work focuses on developing sustainable real estate development strategies for mixed-use town center projects. Mr. Marks has extensive feasibility and real estate transaction experience. He was trained in architecture, real estate development, and urban analysis at the University of Florida. He conducts marketing studies using extensive computer modeling to develop strategies to help his clients best position their real estate assets. Mr. Marks possesses an expert understanding of market conditions, demographic trends and commercial real estate negotiations. He is a real estate consultant to private and public entities such as the City of Winter Park, Rollins College, Lennar Partners, St. Joe Commercial, Newland Communities, Universal Studios, SunTrust Bank, Reynolds Metals, and The RREEF Funds. He lectures regularly at such conferences as the ULI Place Making Conference, The International Council of Shopping Centers' Recon Conference in Las Vegas and the Florida ICSC Conference. David Marks received a Master of Arts, Real Estate and Urban Analysis from the Business School at the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Design from the College of Architecture at the University of Florida . He is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) , and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He also is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida .
