David’s areas of expertise include commercial leasing and the representation of commercial tenants and landlords, real estate consultation, and property valuation. David has represented a wide variety of corporate clients in the fields of finance, insurance, technology, professional services, biotech, medical, law, education, environmental, and non-profit. Over the last 24 years, David has negotiated over 2,000 leases on behalf of his clients, representing over 7 million square feet throughout the San Francisco Bay area and United States. David’s extensive and diverse background in commercial real estate provides his clients with broad expertise, knowledge, and the tools to effectively execute their business plans. Prior to Avison Young, David was a Senior Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle in San Francisco and Vice President and founding member of The Staubach Company’s downtown San Francisco office. During David’s tenure at JLL and Staubach, he was a 9-time Top Achiever (2004-2012) and CoStar Power Broker in 2009 and 2011. In 2016, David achieved Avison Young's "Circle of Excellence" award and in 2021, David participated in Avison Young's "Mentor" program serving as a mentor.
