David Kass

David E. Kass is the President of Continental Real Estate Companies and Founder and Chairman of Continental Hospitality Group. David is charged with overseeing total business growth and development for Continental with a primary focus on its hospitality and retail divisions. David spends much of his time cultivating relationships with debt and equity sources, as well as with strategic development partners both public and private. He works closely with his development team providing vision to each project and directing site analyses and acquisitions, pre-development strategies, leasing and finance. A nationally recognized pacesetter in commercial real estate development during his 30-year career, David has been responsible for the development of a substantial hotel and shopping center portfolio consisting of more than 2 billion dollars across the United States, including in California, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Ohio. Much of his time is currently spent overseeing "CHG" which started developing hotels projects in 2006 and remains very active today. David attended the University of Michigan where he was a 3-time All American tennis player and the Big Ten's Player of the Year in 1992. He's been heavily invested in the tennis industry for the last decade and serves on the Player Development Board of the United States Tennis Association. David opened Tennis Ohio in 2020, a 65,000 square foot facility, used to mentor and coach top level professional and junior tennis players as well as cultivating partnerships for philanthropic purposes. David also started an ATP pro tennis event in 2015 that is now hosted annually at Tennis Ohio. David has served on boards including the "Young Leadership Group" for United Way, I know I Can, Columbus Housing Partnership, and the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. He and his wife, along with their two children, reside in Columbus, Ohio.
