Darshan Patel
Hi, I am Darshana Patel, Certified Kumon Instructor since 2003. I began my journey with Kumon after watching my children develop skills and a work ethic that has impacted their lives. As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor for students to provide direction, support, and encouragement. I create an individualized daily study plan specific to help unlock the potential of each child. The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Carrollton - Northwest works with your child to develop accuracy in completing their assignments within a designated time frame to help increase self-confidence, self-reliance, and motivation. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed. Biography and Background Certified Kumon Instructorhead shot I received my Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois in Chicago. I moved to the DFW area in 2000 and have successfully settled into the Castle Hills community. In 2003, I opened the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Carrollton – Northwest. My love for math and passion to work with students inspired me to switch to a career in education. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two college aged children. We enjoy traveling through the US and abroad to visit family and friends. I enjoy spending time in the outdoors camping. One of my goals for the near future is to climb Machu Picchu.
