Darrell joined Kidder Mathews in 2018 and was pivotal in the firm’s growth in Southern California, launching the Century City office as Managing Director. He became a shareholder the following year and now serves on the board of directors, contributing to the company’s ongoing strategic direction. Previously, Darrell served as president and executive managing officer of the Charles Dunn Company, where he was responsible for recruiting, operations, agent development, and overall strategic growth. During his tenure, he expanded the firm’s service lines—helping establish a capital markets group and a net-leased investment division. When he transitioned to Kidder Mathews, he played a key role in bringing more than 20 professionals from Charles Dunn—forming the foundation of the Century City office. Upon entering the industry in south Orange County during an economic downturn, he quickly adapted to a commission-based environment—an early experience that fueled his entrepreneurial mindset. He went on to co-found the Bank of Whittier N.A., where he served on the Holding Company board, the board of the bank, and multiple committees, and where he remains a shareholder today. He also held leadership roles as general manager of sales and chair of another regional brokerage, significantly expanding the firm’s commercial brokerage division over an 11-year span. His expertise was in all business lines of brokerage spanning from Northern California to San Diego. Along the way, Darrell assembled real estate partnerships as a principal and invested with partners. Darrell is widely recognized for his leadership, commitment to high professional standards, and dedication to helping others succeed—earning the respect and loyalty of clients and colleagues across the industry. He holds a degree in Finance and Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
