In 2017, Dain joined Harvest Commercial Real Estate Finance as Senior Vice President. He specializes in commercial financing throughout North America. Before joining Harvest, Dain served as Senior Vice President / Business Development Officer at Plaza Bank, based out of Irvine California. As member of the Plaza Bank CEO Advisory Committee, Dain helped to implement a strategic and dynamic performance model to boost the productivity and financial returns of the institution. An inherit entrepreneur, Dain founded the successful Commercial Real Estate Finance Brokerage, Court Capital. As principal broker, Dain served a niche market, financing highly complex commercial transactions. Before founding Court Capital, he served as CEO of New Day Trust Mortgage, a thirty-eight (38) person mortgage brokerage and direct lender responsible for directing the organization to achieve $4 million in annual revenue. He served as direct supervisor to a twenty-eight (28) person sales team, and closed $27 million in loan volume quarterly. New Day Trust was recognized by Countrywide as 4th highest producing brokerage nationwide Q2 2006, and was nominated as a Top Family-Owned Business by the Orange County Business Journal. Before entering the real estate finance field, Dain served as Vice President of Signature Entertainment, where he was the Unit Production Manager specializing in documentaries including films for the Los Angeles Foundation and AIDS Project Los Angeles. His work as unit director and producer for the AIDS Project Los Angeles documentary “Heroes”, earned him an Emmy nomination.
