Cortney Carter

Cortney Carter brings over two decades of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on retail and restaurant leasing. She joined Collett as a Partner in 2012, following six years with Hughes Commercial Properties. Her expertise spans landlord representation, tenant advisory services, and retail consulting. Cortney is widely recognized as the leading leasing agent for downtown Greenville, having completed more than 35 deals. Her client portfolio includes a range of national and regional tenants such as Vuori, Chicken Salad Chick, Trader Joe’s, STIR, Sola Salons, Southern Tide, Academy Sports, Ameris Bank, Starbucks, O2 Fitness, Warby Parker, The Joint, Madewell, Massage Envy, Dress Up, Alumni Hall, lou lou Boutique, Nourish, and Pet Supermarket, among many others. Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Cortney has called Greenville, South Carolina home since 2006. She is married with four children and enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. Cortney actively serves on the board of the Greenville Exchange Club and has participated annually in the Ultimate Hike for CureSearch since 2017—supporting the organization's mission to end childhood cancer through innovative research.
