Cody Schooley

Cody Schooley is Director of Acquisitions at NETSTREIT Corp., an internally managed, publicly traded net lease retail REIT headquartered in Dallas, Texas. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing acquisitions of single-tenant net lease retail properties across the United States. His responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, maintaining broker relationships, negotiating transaction terms, and supporting capital deployment aligned with NETSTREIT’s portfolio strategy focused on high-quality, creditworthy tenants and long-duration leases. Schooley regularly represents the firm at industry conferences, including ICSC events, and serves as a primary point of contact for acquisition opportunities nationwide. Before joining NETSTREIT in 2021, Schooley worked at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services as a Single-Tenant Net Lease (STNL) Associate, where he specialized in advisory services related to the acquisition and disposition of net leased retail properties. In that role, he supported transaction execution, marketing strategy, financial analysis, and client advisory efforts for private and institutional investors. His experience at Matthews provided extensive exposure to net lease deal structuring and national retail markets, forming the foundation for his transition into an acquisitions leadership role at NETSTREIT.
