Christopher joined Capstone in 2005 after graduating from the University of Mississippi. While he has served several roles with Capstone Development Corp (“Capstone”), since 2007 he has focused primarily on acquisitions and development. Christopher is involved in all aspects of asset acquisition, from site identification and financial modeling through construction and lease up. In 2010 Christopher was promoted to Senior Vice President of Acquisitions to lead that Division of Capstone. Christopher took over as Principal of CREI in the Fall of 2011 as the Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions Divisions. Since inception of its value-add acquisition strategy, CREI has closed on the acquisition of 25 properties. These transactions represent $463 million in total development costs and over 11,000 student beds across 19 markets.
