Christopher is responsible for managing the company’s investment strategy, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively to maximize returns, while aligning with the organization’s mission and risk tolerance. Christopher brings over 14 years of experience in multifamily finance, with a deep specialization in market rate and affordable housing. Prior to joining Logos, he served as a Senior Director at Walker & Dunlop, one of the nation’s top commercial lenders, focused on multifamily debt and equity. Christopher has won numerous industry awards, including the Los Angeles Times Visionary in Finance and the Globe St. Rainmaker award. In addition to his professional work, he has held leadership roles within the industry, serving as Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Future Leaders Alumni and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for AdelFi Credit Union. Christopher is of Mexican descent and is from Southern California, he resides in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. He and his wife, Amanda, serve at their local church and co-lead the church’s business ministry. Christopher holds a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership from the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California (USC) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Mr. Montes graduated with honors from both academic institutions.
