Christie Amezquita

Christie Amezquita, CCIM, is a Partner at SHOP Houston focusing on all aspects of the retail real estate industry including third-party leasing, tenant representation, disposition, investment sales and specialty projects. Prior to joining SHOP, Christie worked for Read-King in Houston for ten years. From 1996 to 1999 she worked as a Landlord Representative at Trammell Crow Company in Atlanta, Georgia. She then moved to Mobile, Alabama where she worked for a retail developer, Saad & Vallas Realty Group (SVRG) from 2000-2008. At SVRG she was responsible for site selection, leasing and disposition and played a key role in development. She was included as one of Houston Business Journal’s Heavy Hitters in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Christie is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Texas, Alabama and Georgia and membership with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) since 2006. Christie attended Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches and received her Associates Degree in Business Administration. She is an active member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and serves on the Foundation Board & Board of Trustees.
