
Christian D. Wead joined Block Real Estate Services, LLC (“BRES”) in February 2019 as a Brokerage Intern before being brought on full-time as a Sales Associate in August 2020. He primarily focuses on industrial leasing and sales, as well as investment transactions of various types. Christian currently serves as the leasing agent for over 8 million square feet of industrial real estate throughout the Greater Kansas City Market. Since joining BRES, Christian has completed over 350 transactions totaling more than $250 million in transaction volume. In addition to representing the largest landlord in the Kansas City Metro area, he has handled leasing and sales for numerous high-profile clients including Saban Capital Management, National Fulfillment Services, Forbo Siegling, LLC, Central Power Systems & Services, Moving Proz, Seasonal Concepts, Office Products Alliance, American Crane & Tractor Parts, Great Day Home Improvements, Select Brands, Southwestern Communications, All American Indoor Sports, and more. Christian has been recognized as one of the Kansas City Business Journal’s Heavy Hitters of Commercial Real Estate for four consecutive years (2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024). In 2023, he was named to Ingram’s Magazine’s “20 in Their Twenties” list, highlighting top young professionals shaping the future of business in the region. In addition to his transactional work, Christian serves on the Board of Directors for KCRAR Commercial, where he helps guide the commercial real estate industry’s growth and standards in Kansas City. Prior to working at BRES, Christian interned with The Martens Companies in Wichita, Kansas, where he supported both appraisers and brokers. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a Certificate in Professional Selling from The University of Kansas in 2020. While at KU, he was active in Greek Life and involved with the Entrepreneurship Club and the Investment Club, making the Dean’s Honor Roll multiple times. Christian is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. He is originally from Wichita, Kansas, and currently resides in Leawood, Kansas.
