Chris Shaffer

Chris Shaffer joined Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank in January 1996. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for ten years with CB Commercial’s San Jose and Fremont offices. In the Fremont office, Mr. Shaffer was instrumental in implementing the vast Fremont databank. Mr. Shaffer specializes in the leasing and sales of office/R&D and warehouse property. Since 1989, Mr. Shaffer has successfully completed over 850 transactions totaling over 10 million square feet and sales exceeding over a half billion dollars. Mr. Shaffer successfully completed one of the largest R&D leases in the history of Fremont (2007 TMG/JER to Boston Scientific, 360,772 SF) and largest Silicon Valley transactions (2005 1,023,000 SF Renco to TMG/JER). His expertise in Southern Alameda County and Northern Santa Clara County is second to none.
