Chris Ring

A Nevada County native, Chris Ring brings more than 15 years of experience in project management, land development, and construction to his role as a REALTOR® with Gold Country Ranches & Realty. His expertise in land use, entitlement, and rural development makes him an invaluable resource for clients navigating the unique opportunities and challenges of foothill and agricultural properties. Before entering real estate, Chris held senior management positions with nationally recognized builders and developers across California, successfully managing over $500 million in construction and development projects in multi-family and mixed-use sectors. He later founded Ring Consulting Services, providing project management and development consulting to both public and private clients. Chris is also a passionate housing advocate and co-founder of Live Work Thrive Nevada County, a local initiative promoting housing solutions and smart-growth strategies to strengthen our communities. His service extends to the Nevada County Association of REALTORS®, where he has served on the Board of Directors and as Vice Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee, and will serve as President in 2026. With deep roots in Nevada County and a proven record of leadership and results, Chris brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to every transaction—helping clients make confident decisions in today’s dynamic real estate market.
