Chris Artibello

Chris is a seasoned real estate development professional with over 20 years of experience in construction, development, strategic analysis, and due diligence. With a strong entrepreneurial background spanning more than 28 years, Chris has successfully built businesses, raised capital, and developed a deep expertise in residential construction, debt and equity financing. Following in the footsteps of his late grandfather, Chris keeps his muddy boots close by and is quick to trade the office for time in the field. As the President of Belterra Land Company, a firm he founded in 2007, he leads efforts in the acquisition, planning, and development of projects across Alberta, namely: Calgary, Sylvan Lake, and Red Deer. Under his leadership, the company oversees a portfolio that will represent approximately $350 million in value at full build-out. In addition to his development and financing expertise, Chris has extensive experience navigating municipal planning and approvals, and has spent much of his career building and managing diverse teams in real estate development and private investment. As the driving force behind the One Seven Group of Companies, Chris sets the strategic direction, developing long-term business plans and overseeing company growth, profitability, and transformation. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Chris graduated from the University of British Columbia and is now deeply invested in advancing land-based investment and residential development across Central and Southern Alberta. When he’s not on the job site or in the boardroom, you’ll likely find Chris at a sports field somewhere in the world, coaching Team Canada Ultimate Frisbee. Whether he’s mentoring players or breaking ground on a new project, Chris brings a hands-on, people-first approach to everything he does.
